Beloved comedian Chris Rock stars in CB4 as Albert Brown aka M.C. Gusto. Albert Brown, Rip, and Otis are three best friends with dreams of making it big in the music industry. Albert is the leader of this group, so he decides that they need to change their image up a bit. After coming up with one hare-brain scheme after the next, they finally decided to make one career move that would make them rich and famous. Taking on false identities as gangster rappers proves to be their ticket to fame. However, consequences and turmoil are sure to follow the rap sensation if they continue with this charade.

Albert and his friends go from being local nobodies to big famous gangster rappers. The rap music that they produce is filled with lies, but who said lies don't sell records. These three guys are on top of the world, or so they think. Once local crime lord Gusto, who is in jail at the moment, finds out that Otis has stolen his identity, things start to get really interesting. Gusto eventually learns about the guys' plan to fame and decides immediately that he wants revenge.

He feels entitled to money from the record sales and violence against the trio. Once Gusto is released from jail, he begins his plan to pay Albert and his friends back. Now that Gusto is out of jail, keeping up this fake image of theirs isn't the only problem that they have to worry about. These three will have to come up with an elaborate plan to get Gusto out of the picture. Placing their careers as gangster rappers behind them will have to be a reality if they want to survive. There are many cameos by different celebrities in this movie. If you have a love for comedy and a flavor wannabe rappers this is the movie for you.
