Empty roads crisscross snowy terrain, as winter pummels snow across the path of college kids, carpooling home for their winter break. Our unsuspecting girl is pretty, while our guy has a secret or two hiding behind his pleasant face. Of course, the inevitable happens. Nature trumps technology. Technology's betrayal, their car's break down, their mutual mistrust, the bitter cold, and something much colder, and far older, a thing from another time; all these things start to align, to form a perfect winter storm of horrors that will do everything possible to see to it the students never make it home.
