Things get complicated when Parimal's friend and colleague Sukumar Sinha (Amitabh Bachchan) visits him and accidentally discovers Parimal's true identity. Parimal makes Sukumar promise to keep it a secret but Sukumar, unable to keep a secret, spills the beans to Raghavendra.

The rest of the film follows Parimal's attempts to resolve the situation and win back the trust of his family. The comedy of errors, mistaken identities and miscommunication leads to hilarious situations and a perfect blend of humor and drama.
