Corky Romano is a family comedy about a veterinary assistant who’s bedridden father is a Mafia crime lord. Corky has two older brothers, and after the mother passed away the family pushed Corky away as well. His two brothers knew of the father’s life, but Corky didn’t. Corky’s father knew the charges against him and decided the only thing to do is steal the evidence the FBI has against him. Only thing is, both of Corky’s brothers are known by the FBI so they can’t do it. Corky is now needed by his family. They want him to go undercover and get the evidence. Corky is just what his name is though, he is a very corky man. He's hyper and goofy and really doesn’t exactly fit the match of an FBI agent. However, even though he is only there undercover, he is also made to look like an agent with the help of a computer hacker. So the team takes him right in and starts using his “expertise” to solve the Night Vulture case he came in on. Luckily for Corky, his nonsensical actions keep making him look like he’s actually an agent, but there is one agent who is on to Corky. Brick Davis is the agent that isn’t really on board with everything Corky is saying and doing. He starts snooping around, even though he has a really dirty secret of his own. Corky eventually finds the evidence against his father and finds he is being charged for murder. Corky confronts his father and he denies it. Corky’s cover was also blown by his female partner. Turns out that one of the family’s insiders in the FBI was altering information on the family, and Corky’s father was no longer being charged and even thought Corky wasn’t an actually FBI agent, he helped the team solve the Night Vulture case.
