In the film, a young theater director named Lewis is offered a job assisting mentally ill individuals. One of the parents of the children in the program doesn't want to adhere to the rules set forth by Lewis, and wants the parents to put put on a play about Cosi Fan Tutte. The play is in Italian and none of the parents can sing. With hard work, Lewis, the parents and their children are able to put together a successful program. Everyone learns to appreciate each other's differences and the parents and children give Lewis a wonderful sendoff at the end of the production.

Cosi is a 1996 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.6.
