Watch Cross Creek

After running a successful column, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings wants to make the jump from newspaper to print. She leave the column and the city behind and moves to Cross Creek, Florida, where she searches for inspiration for her first serious novel. The locals doubt her ability to be paid for such work and her challenge of finding the right subject is harmed by her losing her husband. Eventually Marjorie's relentless pursuit of her dream will find her inspiration in the small and quiet town.
