Death Hunt is an action packed thrill that takes place in the Yukon Territory in 1931. It features an all-star cast which includes: Charles Bronson, Lee Marvin, Angie Dickinson, Carl Weathers and Andrew Stevens. Albert Johnson is an American trapper who chooses to live his life in solidarity and befriends no one. While checking his traps, he stumbles across an organized dog fighting ring and pays $200 dollars for the injured dog. He takes the dog to his cabin and manages to nurse it back to health. Meanwhile, Hazel, the trapper who owned the dog is angered at Albert’s behavior and tells his friends that the dog was stolen from him. Now he wants the dog back and they orchestrate an attack on Albert’s cabin. They storm the cabin and in the end the dog gets shot and Albert kills one of the posse members. When the posse returns to town and start talking about the incident, they are notified that Albert had just bought several hundred rounds of ammunition and he paid for it in new $100 dollar bills. This leads them to believe he is a psychopathic killer and bring it to the attention of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police sergeant, Edgar Millen. Sergeant Millen builds up his posse which includes a new constable, a native tracker named Sundog and numerous trappers. The one friend of Albert’s, an old trapper, warns Albert of the ambush which gives him time to prepare for it. At the cabin, Millen tries to talk Albert into coming out but instantaneously one of the trappers open fire. By the end, Albert is able to escape but many trappers and a Mountie is killed. Now there is a $1,000 dollar bounty put on Albert and the incident makes the headline of newspapers across the nation. Now he must run from the RCMP and bounty hunters or find a way for them to hear the truth.
