Watch Gossip

James Marsden, Lena Headey and Norman Reedus star as the catalysts. The movie takes place on a big city college campus. When the topic of gossip is brought up in a social studies class, three students decide to start a rumor about a classmate and track it for a term paper. The rumor quickly spreads around campus and changes into a tale much darker than the original story. The writer of the screenplay delivers many interesting plot twists along the way. The movie is centered on the three classmates and how they deal with the outcome of their story.

One of the characters uses the story to his own advantage, while another tries to work through the guilt over the destruction they created. Meanwhile, the victims of the gossip get caught up in the lie and have to deal with the damage that has been done.

Gossip is a 2000 mystery with a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.9 and a MetaScore of 31.
