Gram Parsons was one of the most psychedelic and brilliant musicians of the era he was alive in; he was a bitter, egotistical, genius who knew stars such as the king himself (Elvis), and someone who had tripped out with the Rolling Stones and then fatally overdosed on the strong combination of the drug morphine and tequila in 1973. From his dying came an exquisite story. A story from deep within rock folklore itself; a story of an intense and loving friendship, a story of true honor and dangerous adventure; a story that was so extraordinary, that if it truly did not really happen, no one would believe it if you were to tell them it. This story involves two men with dreams, a long black hearse, a deceased rock star, about five gallons of pure petrol, and a huge promise.
