This is a comedy movie about the life of Jacqueline Susann. She worked hard to find work as an actress. When that failed, her husband encouraged her to be a writer. When she first went to Hollywood, her goal was to be an actor. She failed miserably at that. Seeking a way to help his wife, her husband encouraged her to write novels. When they were first published, they were considered trash. When the sexual revolution hit America in the 1960’s her novels enjoyed a revolution too. They had finally found their audience. This is the story of her life while she was waiting for her fame.
