Let's Do It Again is about a pair of friends who decide to fix a fight in order to raise money. Clyde Williams and Billy Foster are a pair of down-on-their-luck blue collar workers that need to figure out a way to make big bucks to help keep their fraternal lodge open. So, they decide that fixing a fight is the way to go. They come up with a scheme to hypnotize a scrawny boxer named Bootney Farnsworth into thinking that he is the greatest fighter of all time. Though Bootney lacks the physical skills to be a top fighter, the hypnotism convinces him that he is a champion boxer. Clyde and Billy place a lot of money on Bootney for an upcoming fight. Bootney's determination to act like a great champion leads him to an unlikely victory and makes Clyde and Billy a lot of money. However, for every winning bet, there is a losing bet. A group of tough gangsters are on the losing end and are not sure how Bootney pulled off the big upset. After checking around, the gangsters learn of Clyde and Billy's plan and confront the pair. The gangsters give the friends one choice: fix another fight or get killed. Clyde and Billy try to dehypnotize Bootney before his next fight so that he will lose, but are not able to do so. So, the pair comes up with another scheme to make more money. Through a series of crafty bets and maneuvers, Clyde and Billy continue to con anyone they can. Let's Do It Again takes a look at how believing in one's self can allow a person to accomplish anything. Though Bootney was not a good fighter, he won a big fight because the tricks of Clyde and Billy gave him the confidence he needed to succeed. Clyde and Billy may be con artists, but they know that they can figure a way out of their predicament by working together and putting together a good plan.
