This dramatic movie tells the true life story of a mother addicted to crack. Ann Wallace was a crack addict who kicked the habit. She lost custody of her oldest daughter and her family no longer speaks to her. Ann joined the volunteers of the Life Support organization. This group helps people to deal with HIV/AIDS in Brooklyn. The focus of this movie is on Ann recovering from a life of drug addiction. She finds herself through volunteer work. She may be down but she is not yet out as long as she has the ability to help others.
