Soon it is revealed that Mike is interfering with HNG's plot to smuggle drugs into the country. As a result, Kimo threatens to kill Mike's wife Angela and their daughter, Emily unless he agrees to use the Border Patrol in helping the HNG to bring in a huge shipment of drugs. While Mike does not want to help Kimo, he is aware that due to the threats on his family, he really has no choice.
