Linewatch is a crime drama film that was written by David Warfield. Directed by Kevin Bray, the movie features Cuba Gooding Jr., Omari Hardwick, Sharon Leal, Evan Ross, Dean Norris, Chris Browning, Jason Lewis, Dan Burkarth, Omar Paz Trujillo and Josh Coffman. The story follows Mike Dixon (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.) who is an agent working on the United States Border Patrol linewatch. At New Mexico's Mexican Border, he is a well thought of agent. His wife, Angela, (played by Sharon Leal) cares a great deal for him, as does Emily, his 5 year old daughter (played by Deja Warrior). Mike and partner Luis DeSanto (played by Omar Paz Trujillo) come upon a truckload of illegal immigrants who have died. They embark upon a search to find the coyote who had been leading the people across the border. Also, Mike must deal with the militia that is led by Ron Spencer (played by Chris Browning). The hunt for the coyote gets Mike and Luis involved in an altercation and Luis is shot. There is a great deal of chaos, but Mike still recognizes that one of the perpetrators is a member of the notorious High Noon Gang (HNG) from Los Angeles. Mike knows Cook (played by Malieek Straughter) as je was a also a member of the HNG, until turning away from the gang. During the confrontation, Cook manages to escape which allows the HNG's leader, Kimo (played by Omari Hardwick) to find Mike. Soon it is revealed that Mike is interfering with HNG's plot to smuggle drugs into the country. As a result, Kimo threatens to kill Mike's wife Angela and their daughter, Emily unless he agrees to use the Border Patrol in helping the HNG to bring in a huge shipment of drugs. While Mike does not want to help Kimo, he is aware that due to the threats on his family, he really has no choice.
