Sri Srinivasa Kalyana is a 1974 Indian Kannada-language mythological film directed by Vijay and starring legendary actor Rajkumar in the lead role. The movie tells the story of Lord Venkateshwara, a Hindu deity worshipped in the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in the town of Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh, India. The film begins with a background narration that sets the tone for the story. The narrator describes how the gods and goddesses of heaven are concerned about the welfare of their devotees on earth, and how they decide to take on human form to help them. The story then shifts to the birth of Lord Venkateshwara, who is born as Srinivasa to king Vasudeva and queen Padmavati.

As Srinivasa grows up, he falls in love with Princess Padmavati, who is the daughter of another king. However, Padmavati's father requests Srinivasa to obtain wealth before he can marry his daughter. Srinivasa then goes into the forest and meditates, and Lord Vishnu appears before him and gives him a loan of one crore gold coins. Srinivasa goes to Padmavati's kingdom and repays the loan, and Padmavati's father agrees to the marriage. However, Srinivasa's stepmother tries to stop the wedding, and Srinivasa is banished to earth.

On earth, Srinivasa meets a poor old couple who offer him shelter. The couple, Vakula and Akula, are childless and treat Srinivasa as their son. However, they do not know that Srinivasa is a god. Srinivasa begins to repay their kindness by performing miracles and bringing them prosperity.

Meanwhile, back in heaven, the gods and goddesses miss Srinivasa and come to earth to find him. When they find Srinivasa, he reveals his true identity and tells them that he will return to heaven only if Vakula and Akula agree to come with him. Vakula and Akula are reluctant to leave earth, but Srinivasa convinces them to come with him. He returns to heaven with Vakula and Akula, where they become his parents and live happily ever after.

The movie features some amazing performances by the cast, especially Rajkumar, who portrays Lord Venkateshwara with great devotion and restraint. His screen presence and charisma are unmatched, and he delivers a powerful performance. Saroja Devi B. as Padmavati and Manjula as Akula also give good performances.
