The Darjeeling Limited is a 2007 comedy drama. The film centers around three brothers who decide to travel by train across India in order to connect with their mother. Each one of the three brothers suffers from their own problems that are all very much western. One is dealing with extreme levels of depression, another with an unhappy relationship with his pregnant wife, and the third is suffering from a lover for a woman who is very bad for him. As the three travel by train their problems become more apparent, and they continue to struggle to resolve them. The Darjeeling Limited features dry humor, complex characters, and a very interesting setting. The Darjeeling Limited was directed by Wes Anderson, and was written by Wes Anderson, Roman Coppola. Wes Anderson also directed such films as Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenebaums, and Fantastic Mr. Fox. The Darjeeling Limited features a cast of Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and Jason Schwartzman.
