The Legend of the White Horse (1986) is a Polish-American children's film and follows the adventures of Alta and her daughter Jewel, who is blind. Jewel's friend is a white horse. An American geologist and his son meet Jewel, when they travel to Europe to the fictional country of Karistan, on an expedition exploring the environment. The geologist is there to make sure a new road will not impact the environment negatively, but the intentions of the sponsoring corporation come into question. They both discover the transformation the white horse can make and the power behind it.
