A film adaptation of the Joe Crowley novel, Nest in a Fallen Tree. The Night Digger stars Patricia Neal as Maura Prince. Taking in a local handyman in an attempt to thwart a citywide search by law enforcement, Maura finds herself attracted to the young man, Billy, who has some psychological issues. As a sexual tension brews between the two, so does Maura's curiosity of Billy's evening jaunts, which he keeps under wraps for the most part. Persistent in what he does, he reveals to her what occupies his time throughout the night. Film runs 110 minutes.
