He is supported by the local villagers and members of his family, including his daughter (played by Mamta Kulkarni) and son (played by Varsha Usgaonkar). The election campaign becomes heated as both Shivajirao and Ganpat Rai try to outdo each other with their tactics. It all culminates in a violent clash between the two sides on the day of the election.
