Tirangaa is a 1992 Indian action film directed by Mehul Kumar, starring Raaj Kumar, Nana Patekar, and Deepak Shirke in lead roles. The film is set in Mumbai and deals with the issue of corruption in Indian society. The story revolves around three individuals - Inspector Shivajirao Waghle (Raaj Kumar), a retired army officer; Sadhu (Nana Patekar), a street performer, and Bhiku (Deepak Shirke), a local goon - coming together to fight against a corrupt politician and his accomplices.

The film opens with Inspector Waghle retiring from the army and returning to his hometown Mumbai. He soon gets a posting in the police department and takes charge of a police station located in a notorious area of the city. Bhiku, a local goon, who is terrorizing the people of the area is Waghle's first target. Waghle, with the help of his team, starts taking actions against Bhiku and his gang. In the process, he discovers that Bhiku is working for a corrupt politician, Rana (Pankaj Dheer), who is indulging in various criminal activities and using Bhiku and his gang for his personal gains.

At the same time, Sadhu, a street performer, who is busy entertaining the common people, also becomes a target of Rana's goons. Sadhu's father, who is a retired army officer, is killed in a bomb blast, and Sadhu is wrongly implicated for the crime. Waghle, who is investigating the case, realizes that Sadhu is innocent and decides to help him. He joins forces with Bhiku, who also has a personal grudge against Rana, to take down the corrupt politician and his accomplices.

As they start their mission, they face a lot of difficulties and challenges, including getting support from the people, who have been long fed up with the corrupt system. They also face opposition from the corrupt police officers and politicians, who are working for Rana. Despite all the challenges, Waghle, Bhiku, and Sadhu keep on fighting for justice and their fight leads to many twists and turns in the story.

The film has a lot of memorable moments, including the climax, where Waghle delivers an iconic dialogue, "Aye Shivaji Putra, Varsha Aala Aane Kunacha?" which means "Oh son of Shivaji, have the rains come for anyone else?" The dialogue is often quoted by people even today, especially during the time of rains.

The film is known for its powerful performances by the lead actors, especially Raaj Kumar and Nana Patekar, who play the roles of the police officer and the street performer, respectively. The chemistry between the two actors is worth watching, and their dialogues and scenes together make for some of the best moments in the film. Deepak Shirke also gives a solid performance as Bhiku, the local goon, who has a change of heart and decides to fight for the right cause.

The music of the film, composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal, is also noteworthy. The patriotic songs like "Tirangaa" and "Yeh Aan Tiranga Hai" became popular among the masses and added to the overall impact of the film.

Overall, Tirangaa is a must-watch film for anyone who loves action and drama, and is interested in knowing about the issues of corruption and politics in India. The film is a classic example of how a good story, powerful acting, and great music can come together to make a memorable movie. It is an important film in Indian cinema and has a strong message about the need for honesty and integrity in public life.
