Sam Larson (Kevin James), an accountant and author, gets trapped between the CIA and drug lords when his fictional novel, The Memoirs of an International Assassin, is accidentally published as a nonfiction under the title The True Memoirs of an International Assassin, and he is mistaken for a real assassin. Sam got himself abducted and woke up in Venezuela in South America. He teams up with DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) agent Rosa Bolivar whose family grew up in South America. Rosa needs Sam's help on a mission to take down a corrupted president Miguel 'Mike' Cueto, South American Drug Lord General Ruiz and Russian Drug Kingpin Anton Masovich who are fighting for power and Drug business that can make them wealthy. All three of them are fighting for the drug dealing business that Rosa been trying to track down and also here to take down Ruiz, Cueto and Masovich.
