A 1962 film about a priest who lives on an island of of the Irish coast, and operates a light house. Father Paul spends most of his time reading and in prayer when not operating the lighthouse, but discovers that some strange activities are taking place on the island. Food has been going missing and various strange mechanical devices have been setup at various points throughout the island. Father Paul comes into contact with one of the devices and is changed forever. The film includes many beautiful scenes of the wildlife of the island. It also includes supernatural violence.
