Wild Horse Hank is a family adventure drama film that was released in 1979. The film centers on a young girl who falls in love with a pack of wild horses. The only problem is that a gang of ruffians are set on capturing the horses, and selling them so they can be used as dog meat. The girl comes up a plan to take the horses to some federal land where they will be safe. The only problem is that the girl will have to take the untamed and difficult to herd horses a hundred and fifty miles through rough and dangerous terrain.
