From Bad to Worse / Marceline's Closet is the fifth episode of Adventure Time's Fionna and Cake Collection season 1. In the first segment, From Bad to Worse, Princess Bubblegum orders Finn, Jake, and Lady Rainicorn to investigate a dangerous plague spreading throughout the Candy Kingdom, which turns its victims into candy zombies. The trio soon becomes infected themselves and must find a cure before it's too late.
As the episode starts, Princess Bubblegum sniffs out an unusual odor in the kingdom. She investigates and finds a small, brown, slimy candy creature near an infected victim. The slimy creature produces a yellow goo which makes the infected victim get up and walk around as a zombie. The disease spreads quickly and soon Finn, Jake, and Lady Rainicorn are infected as well.
As the gang tries to find a cure, they discover that the only way to turn the zombies back into regular candy people is by finding enough Zombie Candy Corns to make a cure. The hunt for Zombie Candy Corns becomes even more difficult when Jake accidentally spells them with his stretchy powers.
The Candy Kingdom is in chaos as the disease spreads. The gang must fight their way through zombie-filled hallways and overcome obstacles to save their friends. With time running out, they find enough Zombie Candy Corns to make the cure, and Princess Bubblegum uses her scientific knowledge to whip up a vaccination.
In the second segment, Marceline's Closet, Finn and Jake decide to play a game of 'Seven Minutes in Heaven' with Marceline the Vampire Queen. As they spin the bottle, it lands on the door of Marceline's closet, and she refuses to let them go in. Undeterred, Finn and Jake sneak into the closet and end up unleashing Marceline's dark secrets.
As the episode begins, Finn and Jake are hanging out with Marceline, and Jake suggests playing Seven Minutes in Heaven after being forced to spin the bottle by Finn. The bottle spins and lands on the closet door, and Marceline refuses to let them enter.
The boys, however, cannot resist peeking in. Inside, they find a lot of odds and ends, including a diary revealing some of Marceline's deepest, darkest secrets. They read the diary and find out that Marceline has a sentimental attachment to a teddy bear, which she has kept since she was little.
Marceline catches them in the closet and becomes furious. She tells Finn and Jake that they have betrayed her trust and misused her friendship. However, the dynamic trio come to an agreement and the episode ends on a happy note.
From Bad to Worse / Marceline's Closet is a must-watch episode for fans who love Adventure Time's fun and adventurous tone. This episode features exciting action scenes, emotional revelations, and hilarious moments. Finn, Jake, and the rest of the cast are always a joy to watch, and this episode is no exception.
