In his own delusional mind, Cookie believes that he is an actual police officer and that it is his duty to protect the Candy Kingdom.
The episode then fast-forwards to Cookie's takeover of the Candy Kingdom. He holds several candy citizens hostage and demands that he be given his own police department. He is armed with a candy cane bomb that he threatens to detonate if his demands are not met.
Finn and Jake are called in to save the day and bring an end to Cookie's rampage. They meet with Princess Bubblegum, who informs them of Cookie's delusional state. Finn devises a plan to dress up as a police officer so that he can infiltrate the Candy Kingdom and rescue the hostages.
After much back-and-forth with Cookie, Finn finally manages to talk him down and convince him to give up his candy cane bomb. Cookie is taken into custody and sent to a rehabilitation center, where he can receive the help he needs.
In the second half of the episode, "Card Wars," Finn and Jake engage in a game of Card Wars. Card Wars is a collectible card game that is popular in the Land of Ooo. Finn and Jake have spent years collecting cards and honing their skills in the game.
As the episode begins, Finn and Jake are setting up for a game of Card Wars. The game is incredibly complicated, with numerous rules and regulations. Finn is confident in his abilities, but Jake is visibly nervous.
The game begins, and Finn takes an early lead. Jake struggles to keep up, but he manages to make a comeback with a surprise move. The game becomes increasingly intense as both players try to outsmart each other.
Finn and Jake's Card Wars game is interrupted by an unexpected visitor. BMO, their friend and sentient video game console, appears and challenges them to a game of his own.
The episode ends with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers wondering who will come out on top in the Card Wars showdown.
