Ah! My Goddess Season 1 Episode 20 Ah! Save the Goddess, If You're a Man!?

Belldandy's sisters Urd and Skuld are having a disagreement about whether Keiichi is the right person for Belldandy. Urd thinks that Keiichi is just a mere mortal and not worthy of Belldandy's affection, while Skuld thinks he is a good match for her. In order to settle their disagreement, they decide to put Keiichi through a series of tests to prove his worthiness.

The first test involves Keiichi rescuing a cat stuck in a tree, but he accidentally falls and lands on Belldandy which causes her to become unresponsive. The second test involves Keiichi having to save a baby who has wandered onto the road, but Urd and Skuld have made things difficult by enchanting the road to make it slipperier. Despite the odds, Keiichi manages to save the baby and impress both Urd and Skuld.

The third and final test puts Keiichi in a perilous situation. He is tasked with saving not only Belldandy, but also her entire civilization of goddesses from a powerful demon. Keiichi is hesitant at first, but after realizing the gravity of the situation, he decides to take up the challenge. He leads the charge against the demon and despite getting hurt, he manages to defeat the demon and save the goddesses.

After the tests are over, Urd and Skuld are surprised to find that Keiichi has passed all of them. Belldandy arrives and they announce that they have come to a decision: since Keiichi has proven his worthiness, they will allow him to date Belldandy without interference. Keiichi and Belldandy are overjoyed and embrace each other.

The episode ends with a short scene showing Mara, the demon who had been attempting to wreak havoc earlier, getting scolded by her father for failing to defeat Keiichi and causing her grandfather trouble. Mara vows to get revenge.

Overall, this episode showcases the importance of proving oneself and earning the respect of those closest to us. Keiichi's determination and bravery ultimately win over Urd and Skuld, who were initially skeptical of him. It also highlights the power of love and commitment, as Keiichi's willingness to risk his life for Belldandy and her people demonstrates the depth of his feelings for her.
