Ah! My Goddess Season 1 Episode 5 Ah! Living Under One Roof Together!

Belldandy the goddess is stuck living with Keiichi, a mortal, in his small college dorm room, and she's having a tough time fitting in. One day when Keiichi's sister Megumi visits, Belldandy is excited to make her a meal, but the cooking goes awry, and the whole room fills with smoke. Megumi laughs it off, but the incident forces Keiichi and Belldandy to put some thought into how they can work together as roommates.

At the suggestion of their talking rat companion, Keiichi and Belldandy work together on a schedule to make sure they can both have the time and space they need in the cramped dorm room. Keiichi, who doesn't have much experience with goddesses, is still getting used to the idea of sharing a room with one. Belldandy has powers that sometimes come out unexpectedly and it's difficult for Keiichi to separate her magical abilities from her mortal qualities.

In this episode, we see Keiichi struggling to come up with a plan for spending equal time in the room with Belldandy, who needs less sleep and wants to help him out with his work. The situation gets tense when Keiichi has a big project due and needs the space, but Belldandy wants to stay up all night looking for mischief to get into.

The tension comes to a head when Keiichi complains about living in such a small space and Belldandy feels like a burden. Keiichi has to face some of his own insecurities about living with a goddess and learn how to communicate more effectively with her.

The episode ends with the two characters resolving their differences and sharing a meal together. They each come to appreciate the other's perspective, and it's clear that they're both going to have to figure out some compromises if they want to make their living situation work.
