AKB0048- Next Stage takes place during the 77th generation of understudies who have recently joined the group AKB0048, which is fighting against a Deep Galactic Trade Organization. During this time, while the Deep Galactic Trade Organization is on the move, AKBOO48 decides to take the general elections at the helm by cometing against this rival group. The new understudies of AKB0048 are forced to participate in a brand new competition while they strive to bring back some of the policies that were around before Acchan's last appearance. The surprising thing that AKB0048 doesn't know is that they are slowly attracting a more power enemy with their efforts of putting an end to the Deep Galactic Trade Organization's plans.
