Ep 2. Berenice

In Archer season 8 episode 2 titled "Berenice," the titular character is a visibly distressed woman who seeks help from the gang. After they initially brush her off, Berenice visits Malory in the hopes of finding a more sympathetic ear. She claims that her wealthy and powerful husband is abducting people and using them as test subjects for his scientific experiments, and she needs Archer's help to stop him. Archer, still struggling with amnesia, isn't convinced until he begins to see strange flashbacks of his past life as a spy-turned-private detective.

Meanwhile, Cheryl, Pam, and Cyril attempt to form their own detective agency, but their bickering and inexperience quickly undermine their efforts. After receiving a tip from Berenice about her husband's illegal activities, the trio decides to investigate, but they are quickly foiled by their own incompetence. In the end, it is up to Archer and the rest of the gang to save the day, but not before facing some unexpected challenges along the way.

As with previous episodes, "Berenice" is jam-packed with witty one-liners, zany hijinks, and unexpected plot twists. Fans of the show will appreciate the return of classic characters like Cheryl, Pam, and Cyril, as well as the continued exploration of Archer's amnesia and its impact on his relationships with the rest of the gang.
