Light endures as a theme in the work of two artists as they seek to gain trust in God's plan and draw closer to Christ. Rob Chipman creates reduction woodblock prints in a process that reminds him that life is a layer upon layer process. He believes that mistakes make the best mentors. Kathleen Peterson uses her figure paintings to demonstrate the light of individual souls. By creating a relationship between the people she paints, she remembers that Christ sees the light in everyone--including herself.
