In Asura Cryin' season 1, episode 2 titled "Destruction of the Future," the story continues to follow our protagonist Tomoharu Natsume and his mysterious friend Misao Minakami, who happens to be a ghost. Tomoharu possesses a strange device that allows him to summon and control powerful mechs known as Asura Machina, causing him to become the target of both the student council president and a powerful organization known as the Testament Union.

The episode begins with Tomoharu and Misao visiting the school library to research the history of the Asura Machina. While there, they encounter a strange girl named Ania Fortuna who claims to be a second-year student from Russia and has a keen interest in the Asura Machina. Ania soon reveals that she is also a member of the Testament Union, and her goal is to acquire the device that Tomoharu possesses.

Meanwhile, the school festival is quickly approaching, and Tomoharu is busy building a stage for the upcoming performance. However, their peaceful lives are soon shattered when a mysterious enemy known as "Hadou Gods" appear, causing chaos and destruction all around them. Tomoharu and his friends quickly spring into action and engage in a battle against the Hadou Gods.

During the battle, Tomoharu and Misao discover that the Hadou Gods are actually a product of the Testament Union's research and that they are using the festival as a cover for their true intentions. Asura Machina's team manages to defeat the Hadou Gods, but they soon realize that the Testament Union is still after Tomoharu's device.

The episode ends with Tomoharu, Misao, and Ania discovering a hidden room underneath the stage where they find an Asura Machina being experimented on by the Testament Union, leading them to believe that there may be others like Tomoharu out there.

Overall, "Destruction of the Future" is an action-packed episode that introduces new characters and a deeper understanding of the Asura Machina's history. It also raises questions about the intentions of the Testament Union and its connection to Tomoharu's mysterious device.
