Avatar: The Last Airbender, Extras - Book 1: Water Season 1 Episode 7 Chapter 7: Winter Solstice, Pt. 1

In Avatar: The Last Airbender, Extras - Book 1: Water season 1 episode 7, titled Chapter 7: Winter Solstice, Pt. 1, Aang and his companions arrive at a village that is being terrorized by the Fire Nation. The villagers are preparing for the winter solstice festival, which is a time when the spirit world and human world are closer together. Aang, who is the Avatar, is told by the village elder that he must go to the Fire Temple and speak with the Avatar Spirit to learn how to defeat the Fire Nation.

Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh, who are members of the Fire Nation, are also traveling to the Fire Temple. Zuko hopes to find the Avatar and capture him, in order to regain his honor and restore his position in the Fire Nation.

As Aang travels to the Fire Temple, he is haunted by visions of his past and his failures as the Avatar. He is also pursued by Zuko, who hopes to capture him and restore his honor in the Fire Nation.

When Aang arrives at the Fire Temple, he is confronted by an ancient Spirit named Koh, who steals faces in order to maintain his immortality. Koh tells Aang that the Avatar Spirit is not at the temple, but is in fact within Aang himself.

Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh arrive at the temple, but are unable to capture Aang due to the interference of the spirit defenders of the temple. Zuko is forced to retreat, but vows to never give up his pursuit of the Avatar.

As the episode ends, Aang realizes that he must learn to connect with the Avatar Spirit within himself in order to defeat the Fire Nation and bring balance to the world. The stage is set for the second part of the Winter Solstice episode, where Aang will learn to connect with the Avatar Spirit and face the challenges ahead.
