Basketball Wives season 6 kicks off with Episode 1, reuniting viewers with the group of basketball wives, ex-wives and girlfriends. Tami Roman is also back, but this time as a manager of her daughter, Lyric's, singing career. Tami is busy managing Lyric, who has a big performance coming up. Tami is also reconnecting with some of her old friends, but the catch is that these friends are from her "real" life, before the show. One of these friends is Evelyn Lozada, who has brought her daughter, Shaniece, along. Tami and Evelyn catch up and reminisce about the old days, and Evelyn even offers some advice on Tami’s current work-life balance.

The episode also introduces a new cast member, Keonna Green, who is the mother of Nick Young's children. Keonna is joining the show, and it looks like she might be stirring up some drama. She talks about her relationship with Nick and her experiences with the other Basketball Wives and their circle, claiming that they have all judged her unfairly.
