Ep 2. Episode 2

As the second episode of the seventh season of Basketball Wives begins, Evelyn and Tami are meeting up to discuss the previous day's lunch. Evelyn tries to explain to Tami that she simply wanted to squash the beef between her and Jackie, but admits to being taken aback when Jackie then decided to take things a step further and bring up the topic of Evelyn's ex-husband, Chad Ochocinco.

Meanwhile, Jackie is speaking with OG and Malaysia, insisting that she was not trying to stir up drama at the lunch. OG seems unconvinced, however, and points out that Jackie's behavior is making everyone uncomfortable. Jackie seems upset at the idea that the other women are talking about her behind her back, but Malaysia tries to reassure her that they all still care about her. OG chimes in, however, that if it continues like this, it won't be long before Jackie is completely isolated from the rest of the group.

Back with Tami and Evelyn, the two begin discussing other women in the group. Tami confides in Evelyn that she's concerned about Shaunie, feeling as though they've been drifting apart recently. Evelyn seems to agree, though she's quick to point out that Shaunie has a lot on her plate and may just be preoccupied with other things. Tami mentions her own preoccupation with her daughter's health issues, then shifts the conversation to Jennifer, whom neither of them seem to be particularly fond of.

Later, all of the women gather together for a day at the spa. Things start off well enough, with most of the women visibly relaxing and enjoying their treatments. However, when Jennifer arrives, things take a turn. Evelyn, who has been fairly quiet up until this point, decides to confront Jennifer about some comments she made in an earlier interview, insinuating that Evelyn was lying about her domestic abuse at the hands of Chad. It's clear from the moment that Evelyn begins speaking that the other women are not thrilled about the situation.

Jennifer seems taken aback by the confrontation initially, insisting that she didn't say anything wrong. However, Evelyn is quick to point out that it's offensive to suggest that someone would make up such a serious topic for attention. Despite Jennifer's attempts to explain herself, the conversation ends on a sour note, with Evelyn storming out of the room and the other women looking uncomfortable.

Throughout the rest of the day, there are some attempts made to lighten the mood. Jackie performs an impromptu comedy set for the other women, which is met with mixed reviews. Kristen and CeCe bond over feeling like outsiders within the group. However, the tension between Evelyn and Jennifer continues to overshadow everything.

Finally, the episode ends with Tami and Shaunie meeting up for lunch. Tami informs Shaunie about the confrontation with Evelyn and Jennifer, and expresses frustration with the situation as a whole. Shaunie seems sympathetic, but suggests that there may be more going on with Evelyn than they realize. The two women agree to continue to support each other, but it's clear that there's a lot of drama still to come.
