Ep 9. Flight of the Phoenix

The episode "Flight of the Phoenix" begins with the crew of the battlestar Galactica dealing with the aftermath of a massive Cylon attack. The ship's commander, William Adama, is injured and incapacitated, leaving the rest of the crew to pick up the pieces and try to figure out their next move.

One of the officers, Lee "Apollo" Adama, comes up with a plan to build a new fighter ship from scratch using the wreckage of a downed Cylon raider. Despite initial skepticism from some of his fellow officers, Apollo is able to convince them of the feasibility of his plan and they set to work.

The process of building the ship becomes a focal point of the episode, with tensions running high as the crew works against the clock to complete it before the Cylons strike again. There are setbacks and challenges, but ultimately the ship is completed and the crew sets out on a test flight.

The test flight is not without its own complications, however. The crew discovers that the ship has some design flaws, and they must work quickly to make adjustments before their new ship is put to the ultimate test.
