Beyond Moscow is a show that commemorates Russia's 75th Victory Day anniversary. The show is a moving story of the legacy of war, of love, and of the human spirit that wants to rise above bloodshed, hostility, and destruction. The documentary portrays the testimonies of the survivors of the war that took place beyond Moscow and the atrocities they had to live through. The show is an Ammo Content production that features six women, who were teenagers or young women during the war, narrating their stories.

The women featured in Beyond Moscow come from different parts of the Soviet Union, and their tales are full of courage, sacrifice, and resilience. They talk about the loss and the devastation they witnessed through their lives. Through their stories, we can grasp the scope of the war and how it impacted millions of people.

One of the most touching stories on Beyond Moscow is that of Valentina Troshina. Valentina lived in the village of Krasnostavsky, a small town between Gomel and Bryansk. Her father was from Belarus, and her mother was from Ukraine. Valentina witnessed firsthand how the Germans looted and destroyed their town. She recalls how the German soldiers killed anyone who tried to stop them from taking whatever they wanted from the shops.

Valentina also remembers how the Germans set up concentration camps and how they marched their prisoners through her village. She often saw the prisoners on their way to the camps covered in snow, malnourished and helpless. The prisoners were treated no better than the animals, and when they died, their families were not alerted. It was only after the Red Army liberated the concentration camp that Valentina's town found out about the horrors.

The show also profiles Zinaida Girik. Zinaida was born in 1932 in the Ukrainian SSR. When the war broke out, she was ten years old. Zinaida's family was displaced because of the war, and they fled to Kazakhstan to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. Zinaida's father didn't make it to Kazakhstan and eventually died in the war.

Zinaida's story is remarkable because even as a young girl, she was already taking care of her younger siblings. She recalls how they had to learn how to survive in the wilderness; they had to find food in the forest and rely on their survival instincts. Zinaida remembers that they never had a chance to go to school because they were always on the move because of the war.

Beyond Moscow also features Alexandra Marinescu, a Romanian woman who was born in Chisinau, Moldova. Alexandra was recruited by the Soviet army to work at a factory during the war. She recounts how they had to sleep on the factory floor because they worked so much; she remembers the long hours under poor working conditions. Alexandra didn't see any combat action during the war, but she worked long hours to support the Soviet army's cause.

The show's production value is stunning. The visuals and background score are perfect and set the right mood for the stories that the survivors tell. Each profile finishes with a video of their hometown and monuments they built to remember the survivors of the war. The show not only preserves the memory of the survivors but also reminds future generations of the horrors of war and the sacrifices made by millions of people.

In conclusion, Beyond Moscow is a tribute to the millions of people who suffered and died during the Second World War. The show's unique perspective brings to life the stories of six different women, all with their experiences of the war. Beyond Moscow is a harrowing account of what war does to ordinary people and how the human spirit can rise above destruction and strife. The show is a must-watch for anyone who wants to understand the impact of the war on people beyond Moscow.
