Ep 2. Can't Get There From Here

Jenny just started her new job as a waitress at a roadside diner, but her car breaks down on the way. Fed up with the constant vehicle issues, she decides to buy a new one with the help of her boyfriend, Wayne. However, they quickly realize they can't afford any of the cars available at the dealership, and Wayne suggests they take out a loan. Meanwhile, Jenny's mom, Betty, tries to teach Violet the importance of recycling and upcycling by turning the front yard into a garden made entirely of old junk. However, her plan takes an unexpected turn when the neighbors protest and Betty is forced to defend her eco-friendly project. As the day goes on, the Harts realize that sometimes, despite their best efforts, they just can't get there from here.
