Ep 4. Cremains of the Day

Bless the Harts is an animated TV show that tells the story of Jenny Hart (voiced by Kristen Wiig) and her family living in the fictional town of Greenpoint, North Carolina. The fourth episode titled "Cremains of the Day" revolves around Jenny and her mother, Betty Hart (voiced by Maya Rudolph).

In this episode, Betty is on a mission to fulfill her late husband's wishes, which was to have his ashes scattered in a particular place. The only problem is that Betty has forgotten the location. Determined to carry out her late husband's wishes, Betty enlists the help of Jenny and her boyfriend, Wayne Edwards (voiced by Ike Barinholtz), to go on a road trip to retrace her steps and hopefully find the location.

Along the way, the trio faces a series of challenges, including car trouble, encountering old acquaintances, and getting lost. However, their biggest challenge comes when they arrive at the wrong location and find themselves in the middle of a funeral for a stranger. Betty, who is desperate to scatter her husband's ashes, decides to pretend that she knew the deceased and requests to scatter the ashes during the service.

As the trio pretends to mourn the stranger, they soon realize that the deceased was actually a really terrible person. This realization causes Betty to second-guess her decision to scatter her husband's ashes with the stranger's, and she begins to question whether they should honor her husband's wishes after all.

Meanwhile, back in Greenpoint, Jenny's daughter Violet (voiced by Jillian Bell) is left in charge of the family restaurant and struggles to keep things under control when a new employee starts causing trouble. In her attempts to fix the situation, Violet learns about the importance of standing up for herself and learning how to manage difficult people.

Overall, the episode "Cremains of the Day" continues to showcase the hilarious and heartwarming relationships between the characters of Bless the Harts, while also exploring deeper themes such as honoring loved ones and learning to navigate difficult situations.
