Ep 14. Aquaticism

In season 7 episode 14 of Bob's Burgers titled "Aquaticism," the Belchers dive into a new business venture when they learn that Bob's landlord, Mr. Fischoeder, plans to build a new seaweed farm in the ocean by their wharf. With the help of their friend Teddy, the family decides to open up a rival business - a community pool - to stop Mr. Fischoeder's plan and provide a new place for locals to swim.

The episode begins with the Belchers at the wharf, cleaning up trash around their restaurant when they overhear Mr. Fischoeder and his brother discussing their plans for the seaweed farm. Bob is concerned that the farm will ruin the ocean and discourage customer visits to their restaurant. Meanwhile, his daughter Tina is upset over the closure of the community pool since she had made friends there and had been learning to dive.

When Teddy hears about the family's woes, he suggests that they open their own community pool to replace the one that was closed. He convinces Bob that it's a good idea by reminding him of how much money he spends every year taking his family to the pool, and how much they would save by having one of their own.

The Belchers decide to move forward with the idea and begin to plan out the pool. Linda is in charge of getting the word out about their new business while Bob and Teddy work on the actual construction. Meanwhile, Tina takes up the mantle of pool manager and devises a strict system of rules that everyone must follow in order to use the pool.

As construction of the pool continues, Mr. Fischoeder becomes increasingly aware of the competition and tries to sabotage the Belchers' business by withholding their pool permit. The family is forced to navigate through the bureaucratic process in order to get their permit to open on time.

Once the pool officially opens, the Belchers face a new challenge when they realize that their pool is a flop. Despite Tina's strict rules, swimmers are causing a ruckus and are not following the guidelines. As a result, the pool becomes overcrowded and chaotic.

Desperate to save their business, the Belchers decide to change their approach and cater to a different demographic - senior citizens. They offer pool memberships to the local retirement home and create special yoga classes and water aerobics just for them.

As the pool becomes more and more successful, the family realizes that they have to compete with Mr. Fischoeder's latest business venture - a swim-up restaurant. With the help of their senior pool members, the Belchers organize a boycott of Mr. Fischoeder's restaurant in an effort to save their beloved seaweed farm.

In the end, the Belchers' pool remains open and their boycott is successful. The family is able to save the ocean and provide a new community space for locals to gather. The episode concludes with the Belchers enjoying a swim in their pool, grateful for their new business venture and proud of their small victory against Mr. Fischoeder.
