Ep 21. P.T.A It Ain't So

Bob's Burgers season 9 episode 21 is titled "P.T.A It Ain't So". The episode centers around Linda's involvement in the Parent-Teacher Association (P.T.A.) at Wagstaff School. She is excited to be a part of the group, but quickly learns that it's more dysfunctional than she expected.

At the first meeting, Linda is surprised to find that the P.T.A. president, Mr. Frond, is not well-liked by the other members. When Linda speaks up with an idea for a fundraiser, Mr. Frond immediately shuts her down. Linda becomes determined to prove herself and gain the respect of the other members.

Meanwhile, Bob and Gene are hosting a burger tasting for a food critic. The critic is Bob's former classmate, who he believes never liked him. Bob is nervous and throws himself into impressing the critic, while Gene tries to bake the perfect burger bun.

Back at the P.T.A. meeting, Linda continues to clash with Mr. Frond. She tries to bring up her fundraiser idea again, but is once again shut down. Frustrated, Linda decides to take matters into her own hands and begins to plan the fundraiser on her own. She recruits the other P.T.A. members to help and they quickly realize that Linda's ideas are much better than Mr. Frond's.

As the fundraiser approaches, Linda becomes even more determined to make it a success. However, when Mr. Frond catches wind of what she is doing, he threatens to shut it down. Linda refuses to back down and convinces the other P.T.A. members to stand up to Mr. Frond.

At the same time, Bob and Gene's burger tasting goes awry when their restaurant manager, Teddy, accidentally sets off the fire alarm. The critic is unimpressed and Bob is disappointed, but Gene's burger buns are a hit.

In the end, Linda's fundraiser is a huge success and she gains the respect of the other P.T.A. members. Bob and Gene also get some good news when they discover that the critic gave them a favorable review despite the fire alarm incident. The episode ends with Linda being elected as the new P.T.A. president and Mr. Frond being ousted from his position.
