While at the Inn, the group starts to get murdered, and it appears that they are being killed off in strange and unusual ways.

Meanwhile, back at the Jeffersonian, Brennan is trying to bond with her father Max (Ryan O'Neal) who has been living with her since her mother's death. Booth and Sweets continue their task of trying to identify the murderer at the Inn through the use of forensic evidence. With each murder, a new twist ensues, and the team begins to realize that they may be dealing with more than one killer.

As the investigation continues, the team is lead down a dark path, trying to connect the dots, and the episode takes an unexpected turn when the killer's true motives are revealed.
