People become homeless for various reasons. There exists the possibility that intelligent people are mixed among them. We are going to stage a quiz championship in order to uncover the intelligent homeless people! After conducting interviews with the homeless people in Tokyo, we find four of them with backgrounds and personalities completely different from each other. A "quiz championship for the homeless" is staged, offering the winner a monetary prize of 300,000 yen. Ginshari, a comedy duo joins them on-site, and are left speechless after witnessing a most unlikely ending. "Higashino Hunts Deer" continues Higashino's exploration into hunting with Hattori, a professional hunter.
