Call Me Kat is a new television show that premiered on Fox in 2021. The show is based on the British comedy Miranda, and is executive produced by Jim Parsons, who also co-stars in the series. The show stars Kyla Pratt as Kat, a 39-year-old woman who quits her job to open a cat café in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mayim Bialik plays Kat's best friend, Tara, who is a baker and helps her run the café. Swoosie Kurtz plays Kat's mother, Sheila, who is constantly trying to set her up with men. Leslie Jordan plays Phil, a regular at the café and one of Kat's closest friends. Cheyenne Jackson plays Max, Kat's former crush who comes back into her life.

Lamorne Morris plays Randi, Kat's brother who is married with children, and Vanessa Lachey plays his wife, who is a successful real estate agent. Yvette Nicole Brown plays Jennifer, a customer at the café who is always on the go. Julie Goldman plays Chelsea, a customer at the café who is always on her phone. Julian Gant plays a carpenter who helps Kat fix up the café.

The central focus of the show is Kat's dream of opening a cat café. With a little help from her friends and family, she finally takes the plunge and quits her job to pursue her passion. The café is a quirky and cozy space that attracts a colorful cast of characters who become regulars at the café.
