Ep 4. Up All Night

Kathryn, the control-freak leader of the group, organizes a midnight hike in an effort to rekindle the group's waning enthusiasm for the camping trip. However, her enthusiasm seems to be misplaced as the rest of the group is clearly not interested in taking part in this strenuous activity.

Nina, an older member of the group who is happy to spend her time sitting by the campfire, is the only one initially willing to join Kathryn on the hike. However, her clumsiness soon overtakes her senses, causing a string of accidents and falling her behind. Meanwhile, the rest of the group decides instead to stay back and indulge in a more relaxed night of drinking and storytelling.

As Kathryn and Nina's hike continues into the early hours of the morning, tensions between the two begin to boil over. Nina discovers Kathryn's true intentions for the hike and confronts her about her need for control and perfection. The conversation forces Kathryn to confront her own insecurities, and she begins to realize that her constant need for control is poisoning the group dynamic.

Back at camp, the rest of the group's night takes an unexpected and wild turn when an uninvited guest crashes their party. The ensuing chaos leads to a later revelation that no one saw coming.

Overall, this episode explores themes of control, insecurity, and the need for relaxation and spontaneity in our lives. With both comic relief and heart-rending moments, "Up All Night" is a standout episode in the season.
