Mr. Khan decides to take matters into his own hands and transport the body in his pink Cadillac. The family and friends gather at the mosque for the funeral prayers, and Mr. Khan insists on leading the prayers himself. However, he struggles with the Urdu language and ends up repeating the same phrase over and over again, which causes confusion and amusement among the mourners.

After the prayers, the funeral procession heads to the graveyard. However, Mr. Khan's Cadillac breaks down on the way, and the family has to walk the rest of the way to the graveyard, with Auntie Nasreen's body in tow. They finally arrive at the graveyard, and the funeral ends with a comedy of errors, including Mr. Khan falling into the open grave and the wrong grave being dug for Auntie Nasreen.
