Citizen Khan - Episode 6: Alia's Boyfriend

In this episode, Mr. Khan is faced with a dilemma when he discovers that his daughter Alia has a boyfriend named Steve. Mr. Khan, being a devoted Muslim, believes that it is forbidden for his daughter to have a boyfriend before marriage. He decides to take matters into his own hands and goes to confront Steve.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Khan is taking a French language course and tries to impress her teacher, Mr. Beauvoir. She invites him over for dinner, but things go awry when Mr. Khan decides to show off his cooking skills and ends up burning the food.

Back to Alia and Steve, Mr. Khan meets with Steve and tries to scare him off by acting tough, but it doesn't work. Later, Alia reveals to her family that she has converted to Christianity in order to be with Steve. Mr. Khan is outraged and tries to force her to turn back to Islam, but Alia stands her ground.

The episode ends with the Khans hosting a dinner party for their friends and family, including Mr. Beauvoir. Mr. Khan and Mr. Beauvoir get into a heated debate about religion, while Alia's situation is still causing tension at the table.
