Ep 1. Turn 01 - The Day a Demon Awakens

After a hiatus, the highly anticipated second season of Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion has finally arrived. As the episode progresses, we are introduced to a host of new characters, each with their own agendas, making it difficult to discern who is friend or foe. Among them is the cunning Schneizel who is the head of the newly formed Britannian Research and Development Division. It quickly becomes clear that he has his own plans for Japan, and is willing to go to great lengths in order to realize them.

The episode appropriately titled The Day a Demon Awakens, sets the stage for a dramatic and action-packed season as Lelouch takes center stage once again, determined to see his vision through to the end. Equipped with new-found powers, Lelouch is determined to change the world, no matter how many obstacles he may face along the way.

Overall, the first episode of Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion season 2 is exactly what fans of the series have been waiting for. The animation and fight sequences are top-notch, and the story shows no signs of slowing down. While it may be difficult for newcomers to jump right into the series without having watched the first, those who have followed the story so far will be pleased to know that season 2 is shaping up to be just as good, if not better than the first.
