Back from a night's clubbing with Tommy, Amber tries to sneak into No.7 but unfortunately Sunita is already up. Amber begs her not to tell Dev. Kylie gets a call from Social Services. She pretends it's the bank but Gail's suspicious and with Kylie out of the way, dials '1471'. Sunita asks Amber to do a lunchtime shift in the shop so she can collect the kids. Amber has little choice but to agree. Steve and Becky finally manage an amicable conversation. Steve tells her how Tracy's run off with Amy and Becky tells him it didn't work out with Clarkey. Some new furniture is delivered to No.13. Cheryl's touched when Maria helps her carry it into the house. Gail's put out when Nick asks Becky if she'd be interested in a bar job. To appease his mother, Nick agrees to interview them both. Marc tells Audrey he's had a flood at home. Audrey insists he must move in with her whilst they repair the damage. Marc's grateful. Gail lets slip to David that Kylie had a phone call from Social Services. David's perturbed and phones them up to find out what's going on. When Amber turns up 2 hours late for her shift in the shop, Sunita loses her rag and tells Dev how his darling daughter was out all night drinking and clubbing. David storms into the Salon and tells Kylie he's found out she's putting Max up for adoption. Angrily David suggests they could give Max a loving family themselves, but Kylie tells him she's made up her mind and she wants him adopted.
