Ep 1. Pilot

Cupid is a romantic comedy series about a charming and mischievous Cupid named Trevor Hale (played by Bobby Cannavale) who is tasked with matching up 100 couples in love in order to earn his way back to Mount Olympus. In the first episode, appropriately titled "Pilot," we are introduced to Trevor as he is booted out of Mount Olympus by his father Zeus for his reckless behavior.

As punishment, Trevor is sent to modern-day New York City where he is tasked with matching up 100 couples in love. Trevor is confident in his abilities and initially approaches the task with his usual carefree and flirty attitude. However, things quickly become more complicated when he meets Claire Allen (played by Sarah Paulson), a no-nonsense psychologist who has her own reservations about love and relationships.

Trevor immediately takes an interest in Claire and begins using his Cupid powers to try and match her up with a potential suitor. However, the more time he spends with her, the more he begins to question his own beliefs about love and whether or not he is capable of finding true love himself.

Meanwhile, Trevor's antics catch the attention of the media and he soon becomes a viral sensation with people clamoring to have him match them up with their perfect mate. This newfound fame only adds to the chaos of Trevor's already busy schedule, but he is determined to complete his task and earn his way back to Mount Olympus.

As the episode progresses, we see Trevor struggle to balance his duties as a Cupid with his growing feelings for Claire. He realizes that love isn't just about finding the perfect match, but also about compromise, vulnerability, and putting in the work to make a relationship last.
