Ep 2. Dark Matter

Jonas returns to the present day and is shocked at the changes that have taken place in Winden. The town is now a completely different place, with new buildings, new people and new rules. The main difference Jonas notices is that the nuclear power plant no longer exists and has been replaced by a vast solar power plant. This comes as a great surprise to Jonas, as the power plant was central to the happenings that set off the chain of events leading to the disappearance of his father.

Meanwhile, Charlotte and Ulrich are on a mission to find Mikkel. As they investigate the abandoned caves in the woods, they stumble across something they never expected to find. A strange, black material has appeared on the walls of the cave and is giving out an eerie, pulsating energy. It seems to be growing and spreading rapidly, creating a strange force field that has the power to warp space and time. Ulrich and Charlotte soon realise that this dark matter is not of this world, and that it may have come from another dimension entirely.

Back in the future, Jonas makes a shocking discovery when he breaks into the home of an old acquaintance. In his search for clues about the disappearance of his father, he finds a secret room filled with books and diagrams that reveal the true nature of time and space. Jonas is stunned to learn that everything he thought he knew about himself and his family is wrong.
