Ep 6. An Endless Cycle

In Dark season 2 episode 6, titled "An Endless Cycle," the audience is taken back to the past, specifically the year 1921. The story follows a young Jonas as he arrives at the Winden cave, where he meets an older version of himself. Young Jonas is given instructions by his older self, who tells him that in order to save Winden and his loved ones, he must travel back to a specific day in the past - June 27th, 2020.

Meanwhile, in the present day, Ulrich is still being held captive by his own son, Mikkel. Mikkel believes that Ulrich is responsible for his father's disappearance and demands an explanation. Ulrich tries to convince Mikkel that he is his father, but Mikkel does not believe him, which ultimately leads to a violent confrontation.

Elsewhere, Charlotte and Peter continue their investigation into the disappearance of the children of Winden. They uncover a clue that takes them back to the Winden power plant, where they make a shocking discovery.

Amidst all this chaos, Katharina desperately searches for her son, Mikkel, and runs into an unexpected ally who agrees to help her in her quest. Meanwhile, Claudia continues to work on her plan to stop the apocalypse, but soon realizes that her actions may have dire consequences.

As the episode comes to a close, the audience is left with many questions and a feeling of unease. The characters are on the brink of discovering the truth behind the strange events that have been plaguing their town for decades. Will they be able to prevent the apocalypse before it's too late? Or are they all just pawns in an endless cycle of time that cannot be broken? The answers are sure to be revealed in the upcoming episodes of Dark season 2.
